David Harrison and Joe Murray reappointed as Head Coaches of the Thames Valley Swamp Foxes
The Thames Valley Rugby Union is pleased to announce the reappointment of David Harrison and Joe Murray as Head Coaches of the Thames Valley Swamp Foxes for the 2025/26 seasons. This decision follows a rigorous application process and reflects the Union’s confidence in their proven leadership and coaching abilities.
The 2024 season was a testament to their dedication and expertise, culminating in the Swamp Foxes securing the prestigious Meads Cup in the New Zealand Rugby Bunnings Warehouse Heartland Championship. This achievement highlights the exceptional time, commitment, and quality of coaching provided by David (Harry) and Joe. Over the course of their tenure, both coaches have demonstrated significant personal and professional growth, successfully navigating challenges and overcoming adversity to reach the pinnacle of Heartland Rugby.
David Harrison expressed his enthusiasm for continuing in his role, stating “It is a real privilege to continue coaching the Swamp Foxes alongside Joe and representing our province. We are looking forward to the 2025 season and all of the exciting opportunities it holds.”
