A great record for the Hauraki Plains representatives to be undefeated and hold both the Peace Cup and the Poland Cup in 1950. Fifteen of the 26 players in the squad represented Thames Valley, in first- class games during their rugby careers, and Bob O’ Dea became an All Black.

Tony Babich (Kerepehi) 8 games, Brian “Pud” Coxhead (Waitakaruru) 47 games, John Leonard (Ngatea) 1 game, Trevor Fisher (Kerepehi) 2 games, Sel Fisher (Kerepehi/Ngatea) 5 games, Barry Tatton (Ngatea) 2 games, Brian Clark ( Patetonga) 40 games, Guy Alach (Turua) 9 games, A. “Sonny” Fisher (Kerepehi) 1 game, Bert O’Neil (Waitakaruru) 30 games, Ronald Laurence (Ngatea) 52 games, Ken Millington (Kerepehi/Patetonga) 8 games and John Kotara (Kerepehi) 17 games.
