Women\u2019s Rugby 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thames Valley Rugby Union are proud to announce the inaugural Thames Valley Women\u2019s Rugby Club of Origin Competition in 2024. TVRU are very passionate about this space and are looking forward to supporting and moving forward with our returning & future players.<\/p>\n

Our TVRU staff members travelled to almost every Club in the Thames Valley prior to Christmas. The feedback we received about creating our own Women\u2019s competition has been extremely positive. Contact your club (details below or checkout your clubs Facebook page) to see when musters start and if they are providing options for childcare\/support on training and game days. Games will likely be played on Sunday\u2019s.<\/p>\n

The Thames Valley Club of Origin Competition will start 1-2 weeks after the Women\u2019s Waikato Development Competition finishes, of which the Hauraki North Diamonds will play in again in 2024. The likely start date for the Thames Valley Club of Origin Competition is mid-June.<\/p>\n

This allows for the Hauraki North Diamonds to field the best of the best from our province and then for our Thames Valley clubs to be bolstered by the players returning to their home or chosen Club, to offer guidance and experience on and off the field.<\/p>\n
